Acton Institute
The Mission of the Acton Institute is to promote a free and virtuous society characterized by individual liberty and sustained by religious principles. The Acton Institute for the Study of Religion and Liberty is named after the great English historian, Lord John Acton (1834-1902). He is best known for his famous remark: "Power tends to corrupt, and absolute power corrupts absolutely." Inspired by his work on the relation between liberty and morality, the Acton Institute seeks to articulate a vision of society that is both free and virtuous, the end of which is human flourishing. To clarify this relationship, the Institute holds seminars and publishes various books, monographs, periodicals, and articles.
America's Future Foundation
America’s Future Foundation (AFF) recognizes that the future of freedom in America is by no means assured. Over a generation, conservatives and libertarians have won hard-fought gains for limited government, free-markets, and personal responsibility. But the fate of freedom falls upon today’s conservative and libertarian professionals in their 20s and 30s to defend these gains and lead the next battle. AFF’s mission is to identify and develop these future conservative and libertarian leaders. When the time is right, when the situation demands, when the challenge calls—young leaders at AFF will be ready. And these future leaders will turn to their fellow members of AFF to recruit their team to execute.

American Conservative Union
The American Conservative Union is the nation's oldest and largest conservative lobbying organization. ACU's purpose is to effectively communicate and advance the goals and principles of conservatism through one multi-issue, umbrella organization. The Statement of Principles expresses ACU's support of capitalism, belief in the doctrine of original intent of the framers of the Constitution, confidence in traditional moral values, and commitment to a strong national defense.

Ashbrook Center

The Atlas Economic Research Foundation was founded in 1981 by the late Sir Antony Fisher. It is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization headquartered in Arlington, VA that brings freedom to the world by helping develop and strengthen a network of market-oriented think tanks that spans the globe.
Catholic League For Religious and Civil Rights
The Catholic League is the nation’s largest Catholic civil rights organization. Founded in 1973 by the late Father Virgil C. Blum, S.J., the Catholic League defends the right of Catholics – lay and clergy alike – to participate in American public life without defamation or discrimination. Motivated by the letter and the spirit of the First Amendment, the Catholic League works to safeguard both the religious freedom rights and the free speech rights of Catholics whenever and wherever they are threatened.
Cato Institute
The Cato Institute was founded in 1977 by Edward H. Crane. It is a non-profit public policy research foundation headquartered in Washington, D.C. The Institute is named for Cato's Letters, a series of libertarian pamphlets that helped lay the philosophical foundation for the American Revolution.
Center for the Study of Popular Culture
The Center for the Study of Popular Culture, now in its second decade of activity, is dedicated to defending the cultural foundations of a free society, a task made even more pressing by the attack on America of September 11th, the Iraq conflict and the internal opponents of freedom this attack has revealed. The Center is led by its President, David Horowitz a man who has been called “the left’s most brilliant and articulate nemesis,” who is suited both by experience and dedication to the task at hand.
Central European and Eurasian Law Initiative (CEELI)
The Central European and Eurasian Law Initiative (CEELI) -- a public service project of the American Bar Association (ABA) -- advances the rule of law by supporting the law reform process in Central and Eastern Europe, Eurasia and the Middle East. Through its volunteer legal liaison program as well as its training institute in Prague, CEELI makes available American and European legal expertise and technical assistance for these emerging democracies in modifying and restructuring laws and legal systems. CEELI has offices in 24 countries across Central Europe, Eurasia and the Middle East. Since its founding in 1990, more than 5,000 judges, attorneys, law professors and legal specialists have contributed more than 0 million in pro bono assistance to promoting the rule of law in the region.

Claremont Institute
The mission of the Claremont Institute is to restore the principles of the American Founding to their rightful, preeminent authority in our national life. The Claremont Institute finds the answers to America's problems in the principles on which our nation was founded. These principles are expressed most eloquently in the Declaration of Independence, which proclaims that "all men are created equal and are endowed by their Creator with certain inalienable rights...." To recover the Founding principles in our political life means recovering a limited and accountable government that respects private property, promotes stable family life and maintains a strong defense.

Ethics and Public Policy Center
The Ethics and Public Policy Center (EPPC) was established in 1976 to clarify and reinforce the bond between the Judeo-Christian moral tradition and the public debate over domestic and foreign policy issues. Its program includes research, writing, publication, and conferences. EPPC affirms the political relevance of the great Western ethical imperatives--respect for the dignity of every person, individual freedom and responsibility, justice, the rule of law, and limited government. It maintains that moral reasoning is an essential complement to empirical calculation in the shaping of public policy.
German Marshall Fund of the United States
The German Marshall Fund of the United States (GMF) is a non-partisan American public policy and grantmaking institution dedicated to promoting greater cooperation and understanding between the United States and Europe. GMF does this by supporting individuals and institutions working on transatlantic issues, by convening leaders to discuss the most pressing transatlantic themes, and by examining ways in which transatlantic cooperation can address a variety of global policy challenges. In addition, GMF supports a number of initiatives to strengthen democracies. Founded in 1972 through a gift from Germany as a permanent memorial to Marshall Plan assistance, GMF maintains a strong presence on both sides of the Atlantic. In addition to its headquarters in Washington, DC, GMF has six offices in Europe: Berlin, Bratislava, Paris, Brussels, Belgrade, and Ankara.

The American Interest
The American Interest (AI) is a new and independent voice devoted to the broad theme of "America in the world." Our agenda is threefold. The Howard Center for Family, Religion and Society
We affirm that the natural human family is established by the Creator and essential to good society. We address ourselves to all people of good will who, with the majority of the world's people, value the natural family. Ideologies of statism, individualism and sexual revolution, today challenge the family's very legitimacy as an institution. Associated with this challenge are the problems of divorce, devaluation of parenting, declining family time, morally relativistic public education, confusions over sexual identity, promiscuity, sexually transmitted diseases, abortion, poverty, human trafficking, violence against women, child abuse, isolation of the elderly, excessive taxation and below-replacement fertility. To defend the family and to guide public policy and cultural norms, this Declaration asserts principles that respect and uphold the vital roles that the family plays in society.

The Intercollegiate Studies Institute (ISI) is a non-profit, non-partisan, tax-exempt educational organization whose purpose is to convey to successive generations of college youth a better understanding of the values and institutions that sustain a free and virtuous society. Founded in 1953, ISI works "to educate for liberty" — to identify the best and the brightest college students and to nurture in these future leaders the American ideal of ordered liberty. To accomplish this goal, ISI seeks to enhance the rising generation's knowledge of our nation's founding principles — limited government, individual liberty, personal responsibility, the rule of law, market economy, and moral norms.
The Project for the New American Century
The Project for the New American Century is a non-profit educational organization dedicated to a few fundamental propositions: that American leadership is good both for America and for the world; and that such leadership requires military strength, diplomatic energy and commitment to moral principle. The Project for the New American Century intends, through issue briefs, research papers, advocacy journalism, conferences, and seminars, to explain what American world leadership entails. It will also strive to rally support for a vigorous and principled policy of American international involvement and to stimulate useful public debate on foreign and defense policy and America's role in the world.
